Shenanigans -
After Brooklin’s eighth goal at 16:41 of the second period, Kyle Laverty welcomed Steve Toll back to the Major League (or was it on who should wear #17). Laverty got the best of Toll as Toll was unable to get Laverty’s helmet off. Laverty received 5 mins for fighting and 2 mins for roughing. Toll 5 mins for fighting.
Notes:
Steve Toll showed no rust. Assisted on the first Brooklin goal and then used his patented blazing speed to walk (run) in all alone on Miron and with a couple of fakes put the ball in the lower left corner for Brooklin’s second goal.
If this is a preview of the playoffs, it’s going to be exciting.
I noted four coaches behind the Peterborough bench and three behind the Brooklin bench. However, Brooklin was not out done as they also had four coaches playing – Toll, Harris, Crosbie, and Derks. If Gibson would have dressed it would have been five.
Both Darryl Gibson and Cam Woods did not dress due to other commitments.
