Shenanigans -
Really none. At 10:15 of the third, Prout and Robertson started jousting in front of the Peterborough net. Evans and Crosbie came around and went around (to see what was happening) and then fell down. Crosbie and Evans were assessed 2 min each for roughing.
Notes:
The Lakers did not arrive home until about 4:00 a.m. from the previous night’s contest against Akwesasne. It showed as they ran out of steam. Of course with both teams advancing to the next round of playoffs little was at stake. Stay out of trouble and avoid injuries.
Brent Lazary scored his first goal as a Major player.
Prout’s third goal at 16:06 of the second period was vintage Whitby Warriors style. Head to the opponent’s net after a shot, Nash makes the save, and then fires a laser to a streaking Prout and Prout converts.
Wamper's Inside Scoop:
Brooklin will be short staffed going to Akwesasne tonight.
