Shenanigans –

At 4:47 of the first period, the fans were surprised to see Luke Wiles tangle with Dave Campbell. Both got in a few good punches and then wrestled to the ground. I would say a draw, but others thought that Campbell was the winner because he was able to remove Wiles’s sweater.

Notes:

The Redmen put together a complete game by all the players. Gee Nash played outstanding in net and was a close runner up to Steve Hoar for player of the game.

Redmen defence played solid all game, not allowed Barrie any easy inside shots.

Barrie’s sixth goal, their first of the third period, appeared to bounce of the lower post into the corner. It was ruled a goal by the ref. His view was that it hit the inside of the lower bar. He was much closer to the play than the fans.

Thanks to Trina for verifying the stats.
