Shenanigans:
Some minor stuff, nothing major.
Notes:
Merchants were in penalty trouble throughout the game and allowed 4 powerplay goals and one on a delayed penalty. Merchants did not exhibit the same vigor as in their last two games. Off to a slow start and then expended a lot of energy in tying the game and then appeared to slow down.
Rob Marshall of the Aces received a two minute minor and a game misconduct for wearing jewelry in the middle of the second period. He was wearing a number of rubber wrist bands for charities. It would not have been noticed if he did not take of his glove. The rules allow only medical bracelets to be worn. I think a lot of players on both teams removed these bands right afterwards or during the next intermission.
Aces capitalized on the opportunities presented to them. |
