"The warm-up is the most important part of a young athlete's training program, and one that is most often neglected."

A proper warm-up consists of dynamic mobility, not static stretching. It should focus on the movement included in the sport and should include multi-directional activities. Rather than "loosening up" muscles, the warm-up should prepare muscles for the explosive movements of the activity. Contrary to the "relaxation" of static stretching, the muscles should be primed and "ready to fire."

This DVD presents a highly effective, cutting-edge warm-up program for explosive sports. It is ideal for lacrosse and can be adapted for most age levels.

This DVD is a must for any athlete or coach who needs to INCREASE SPEED, REDUCE INJURIES, and GET THE JUMP ON THE COMPETITION!

The cost of $25 (shipping extra) is a small investment for this DVD produced by one of only two Level Two Youth Fitness Specialists in Canada (as listed by the International Youth Conditioning Association trainer data base).
