Next game for the Merchant's is Sunday night in Burlington but several Vrooklin
players wqill take part in Saturday night's all-star game in Sarnia. The
Merchant's finally return home Saturday June 16th to tangle with St.Clair Storm of
the Southern Division ina 7 pm start at Luther Vipond Memorial Arena. A large
crowd is expected so be there early.
MERCHANT'S MEANDERINGS: Merchant's had to recently cut Chuck 'king kong' Chong,
Jeremy Sheetz and veteran Jason Jankowski to make room for rookies John Crystal,
Mike Rowland and fan favourite Paul St.John. St.John, with 4 Mann Cup rings, 2
Minto Cup rings, 2 Founder's Cup rings and a 1990 Canadian pro NLL ring with
Guelph Power hopes to add to his jewellry chest a President's Cup ring to become
the first player in the history of lacrosse to collect hardware from the four
major Canadian lacrosse championships.
