For the past 2 years, a group of concerned Six Nations community members have been raising funds to build an outdoor lacrosse box so that less privileged lacrosse players can develop their skills by practicing and playing more.
The Hodinohso:ni Sports & Recreation Complex Committee (HSRCC) have raised a total of $25000 that was used to prepare the site for laying asphalt/concrete base and boards to be followed by a special playing surface.
We anticipate raising another $80000 to complete the lacrosse box. Contributors or volunteers who are interested in becoming involved may call 519-886-7829 for more details on the project.
