The Greek government does not allow the Albanian student who was born in Greece to carry the Greek flag. According to the
Greek law the best student with the highest marks is allowed to carry the Greek flag, but because he is of Albanian descent he is not allowed to carry the flag. I would like to know what you think of the unfairness of this.
I would like to know why the Greek government is allowed to use the Albanian kilt (fustanella) for their Greek national costume? The kilt or fustanella is 100% of Albanian origin. Also, why are the Greeks using the German flag as a Greek flag? The Bavarian King from Germany, Otto brought that flag from Bavaria, Germany in 1832 when he became a king of Greece.
Also why was the Macedonian language suppressed in Greece ever since 1936? Also why are the Macedonians not allowed to baptize their children with a Macedonian name? According to the Greek law it is compulsory to name your child with a Greek name. The Macedonian parents do not have the power to name their baby with the name they want if it is Macedonian. So, if you want to baptize your baby you first have to ask the Greek priest what name you should choose for your own child and so the priest has more power than the parents.
What has the European Union done so far to help the minorities in Greece? Greece is a member of the European Union since 1981? The European Union has done absolutely nothing, they keep deaf ears.
