It might have qualified as a "socialist" country if there were ever free elections there, but that NEVER happened.
Most historians agree that Yugoslavia was a communist country, and the existence of the barbaric Goli Otok concentration camp, where thousands died and tens of thousands were tortured, confirms this assessment.
