That doesn't explain why I, my parents. my grandparents and my greatgrandparents, all of whom fought FOR the Greek side and AGAINST the Bulgarian side, all speak (or spoke) the Florinian Slavic dialect (which of course is far different than the Serbo-Bulgar-Koloshevskian language they speak in Skopje, but that's another story).
And if the Greeks changed your names, why have so few of you changed them after coming to Canada? I'd definitely change my name if I felt something as personal as my name did not reflect who I was. Obviously, you people have no pride.
