A Macedonian tried to restore his name in the Kozhani area of Aegean Macedonia. For more than 15 years now he still cannot restore his original name. In Canada it takes only three weeks to change your name. In Greece, the so called Greek democracy, you are not allowed to change your name especially if you are a Macedonian.
13) Stop misinforming people that you speak Hellenic, you speak Greek! Your country is called and recognized in the UN as Greece, not Hellas. This propaganda on the part of Greece to associate with the Hellenes is ridiculous. The Hellenes and todays Greeks are two different peoples and languages.
14) The entire world recognizes the Macedonian language. There are only 2 countries in the world that do not recognize the Macedonian language and they are Greece and Bulgaria. The reason is because they both grabbed parts of Macedonian for themselves in 1913.

You're such a tool. Hellenic and Greek mean the same thing in today's world. Greece's name in Greek is '¥Å¥Ë¥Ë¥Ç¥Í¥É¥Ê¥Ç ¥Ä¥Ç¥Ì¥Ï¥Ê¥Ñ¥Á¥Ó¥É¥Á' (Elliniki Dhimokratia), which can be translated in English as The Hellenic Republic or The Republic of Greece. The more common colloquial English version is the second one, but they can both be used. Only a total moron would even waste five seconds arguing this. Let's see if you qualify as one of those...
By the way, my great-grandparents ALL spoke Greek.

The ancient Hellenic heritage has been stretched to such extremes, it has become a subject of ridicule around the World. A free society cannot continue under the shadows of ancient glory and myth, the chains of Hellenism have compromised the sense of freedom and reality. The concept of self-criticism is a remote idea from the national Greek psyche.
