Here are the original Bulgarian (Turk-Tatar) names: Asparuh, Tervel, Kardam, Komepej, Sevar, Kopmisosh, Vineh, Telets, Sabin, Umor, Toktu, Pagan, Kitsehg, Tsok, Omirtag, Telerig. In the 9th century, the Bulgarians adopted the Macedonian alphabet and language. They gave up on their Turko-Tatar language and names.
