According to the Greeks, Macedonians born in Macedonia are of Greek nationality. So then John F. Kennedy was born in USA he is American nationality not Irish. Alexander the Great was born in Macedonia and the Greeks insist that his nationality is Greek! I do not comprehend this thinking. Greeks born in Turkey are Greek nationality, yet Turks born in Greece are Greek.
If Macedonians born in Macedonia (according to the Greeks) are Greeks then why is Kennedy who is born in USA, not Irish? And the Greeks born in Turkey why are they not Turks.

Only people born in the United States who are at least 30 (35?) years of age and who are American citizens are allowed to run for President of the United States. Someone who was born in Ireland, or who is of Irish nationality (living in or out of Ireland) is ineligible to be President of the U.S.A. It's really very simple for everyone except, it seems, for you.
NATIONality has to do with the NATION a person is a citizen of, defined either by where one is born OR where someone immigrates to and becomes a citizen after fulfilling the legal obligations set forth by their new nation. This process is also called becoming NATIONalized. Once again, you are confusing the modern definitions of nationality and ethnicity.
To Greeks, Macedonia IS Greek. To you, it means something different.
My nationality is 100% Canadian and I'm proud of it, and so are my parents even though they were born in Greece. Let me ask you: is your nationality Canadian? If it isn't, then get the hell out of my country you traitor!!!

Nationality in English means the nation in which you were born in or the nation in which you are currently a citizen.
Football in the rest of the world means soccer, but they use use the word 'soccer' there as well (see, for example, 'World Soccer' monthly magazine, published in Europe). In Canada and the U.S., football means the gridiron game that evolved out of rugby.
Sometimes the same word can have a different meaning in different languages, and sometimes words in the same language can have different meanings in different parts of the world.
Kennedy's nationality was 100% pure, complete, official, exact, pristine, clear and legal American. By American law, people who have an Irish nationality are not allowed to run for President. Case closed!

Current Topic - According to the Greeks, Macedonians born in Macedonia are of Greek nationality. So then
The ancient Hellenic heritage has been stretched to such extremes, it has become a subject of ridicule around the World. A free society cannot continue under the shadows of ancient glory and myth, the chains of Hellenism have compromised the sense of freedom and reality. The concept of self-criticism is a remote idea from the national Greek psyche.
