Macedonia records 3.2% more tourists
In February 2009, 3.2 percent more tourists visited Macedonia in comparison to the same time period last year, while overnights were down 4.4 percent.
According to data by the National Statistics Institute, 27,811 tourists visited Macedonia in February 2009 and 58,138 overnights were realized.
In comparison to the same month last year, 1.3 percent fewer Macedonian tourists and 8 percent more foreign tourists were registered. Overnights by Macedonian tourists went down 9.2 percent, while overnights by foreign tourists went up 0.8 percent. //04.16.09
