Macedonia and Greece sign agreement on aircraft overflights

The flight controls of Macedonia and Greece have signed an Operative Cooperation Agreement, with which the number of overflights over Macedonia and in the direction of Greece will increase in the future in accordance with EU recommendations on a common European sky.
During the signing act, the head of Macedonias Civil Aviation Agency, Zoran Krstevski, said that this was the first document in the past five years to be signed between the Greek and Macedonian governments.
According to Krstevski, this agreement will contribute to a large extent to the improvement of regional cooperation and to the provision of efficient service both from Macedonias and Greeces flight controls.
