Geometry. The Babylonians and the Egyptians used basic geometry to
measure land boundaries as early as 2000 B.C.
Pythagoras,born 540 B.C. founded a mathematical fraternity that
developed many geometrical principles. The principle that bears his name
(Pythagorean theorem,which was already known to the Babylonians 1500
years earlier) was certainly not discovered by him.
How about that Ftcogians,or Greki, Or Indo-european-Greki ,or Athenians!
