It is the Revell 144-scale (as required) model. Lots of filler needed around the engine nacells, along the wingtips and under the leading edge. Sprayed a Tamiya dark grey, then brush-painted with Citadel Miniatures chaos black. The decals went down (start in the centre) onto Future (hence the different colour under them) then the whole was clear flatted with Gunze H 20.

At first I liked the one-piece UC doors and UC well walls, but not now because the connection is weak. Didn't like the fact that the cruise missiles (2 of 3) were moulded as part of the bomb-bay cavity. Didn't like the fact that only only one bomb-bay was open.
But I got it built in less than a month. AND I enjoyed the build (and that the fact that all of the wheels touch the ground).
Actually, I reckon that the first stealth bomber was the F.117. Bomb bay and no gun/s.
George, out................

HyperScale's 1/144 Scale Group Build Guidelines

The objective of this Group Build is to encourage as many modellers as possible to build their kits and share their progress via words and photos on this Forum.

You are welcome to post general construction tips or relevant reference information and photos to this Forum too.

This Group Build will feature 1/144 scale (and smaller than 1/144 scale) kits.

  1. Build as many kits as you like

  2. Conversions, aftermarket and scratchbuilding are all permitted.

  3. Any markings are acceptable.

  4. Document your progress and do a write-up on your build - where did you have trouble, what improvements did you make, what markings did you choose and why? It would be GREAT if everyone would do a writeup and submit it to HyperScale as a Feature Article.
