  • Boxed Webley & Scott Mark I .22 Air Pistol

    • Posted May 31, 2002 5:11 PM

I have recently come into possession of a beautiful fully functioning Boxed Webley and Scott Mark I Air Pistol fitted with the .22 Barrel. It was originally puchased in may 1961 and basically I am wondering if there is a market for such an item. If anyone can tell me anything about the pistol, in particular where it is likely to fall when categorised under the UK Firearms Act which I believe states pistols over 6lb/f pressure are classed as a section 1 firearm! and need to be licenced. I have read that webley advertised the pistol as having a 345fps muzzle velocity. Any idea of its current market value would also be appreciated. Thankyou.
