It's no secret that Ross has had a fairly open admissions policy for years. It's also no secret that they have had an equally large attrition rate. Both seem to be getting tighter. The very controversial policy they once had of making students who failed a class repeat an entire semester has been scrapped as of sometime last year. Also, students who maintain a minimum GPA (2.8) are allowed to sit for the USMLE without further qualification. Any of these facts can be verified with the admin or a current basic science student.
That said, I agree that any student who pays the tab and passes the course should be allowed to sit for the USMLE.
Best of Luck!
