I looked at the Alabama website and found the lists I mentioned. I couldn't find any such list at the Oklahoma website. I was told on the telephone by an official there that Oklahoma has no such list. If you can direct me to such a list of schools, unapproved in Oklahoma, I would certainly appreciate your effort.
I saw and read the Alabama list. I spoke to the office in Alabama. I was told that the only two schools whose graduates could not be licensed in Alabama were UTESA and UNIREMHOS. AUC is on a list of "Suspect Schools" with other Caribbean schools, but AUC grads need only provide evidence of their residence there to qualify for normal application for licensure.
Perhaps the odd note, on a forum dedicated to Saba -- a school which I personally hold in high regard -- I must say that the person I spoke with in Oklahoma suggested, after counting the number of AUC grads and Saba grads licensed in Oklahoma suggested I should attend AUC because they were "better known".
I agree with you that there are people you can speak with at licensing offices who don't really understand the rules. My own efforts regarding the truth about licensure for Saba grads in New Mexico, as moderated by Dr. Milo Mc New (someone I also hold in high regard), are there for public view on a related site (I still believe I'm right :) ), but the opinions of the folks who review the physical applications are still what we all must hold dear.
Please tell us more.
Best of Luck to Us All!
