I have been off-island for over a year but I took my Wallstreet, a printer, a zip drive and bought a scanner on the island and the only (computer) trouble I had in basic science was a bad hard drive. Zip discs, like floppies, can be formatted for either PC or MAC and MAC can read either anyway. You will have only one problem: some study software like NMB questions, Robbins question disc, Board review, etc. are Windoze only and for those and others that get passed around I would suggest a CD burner and virtual PC. There is still a lot of software that, as the saying goes, "needs a pentium or better" (MAC).
