Does anyone know if the version of "Kiss me Kate",
starring Alfred Drake and Patricia Morison,has the spanking scene in it,just like the Howard Keel/Kathryn
Grayson film?The Drake/Morison film is available from
Amazon.co.uk and seems to have been shown on Television
in the 1950s,though i do not remember seeing it myself.
Internet Movie Database lists it as a T.V.offering from
1958 but Amazon show it as 1953.We did not get a T.V.
till after 1953,so i can understand why i did not see it, if 1953 is accurate.However,if 1958 is correct,i
should have seen it o.k.
