Re: Again, Arild... How do we post pics here?

I once found an article on the newsgroups, saved it on my harddrive, then posted it to my group "Spanking Post" - and then used the "picture URL" from where it was posted in the group - and then linked to it within this forum, and it appeared fine in the chat-forum...

But one can do the same with pictures from other websites. Just write down the entire URL - too which the picture has been saved - and it will appear fine.

NETSCAPE : Right click with your mouse on the still in question, click on View Image, and then when it opens in a new window, copy the ENTIRE URL-link and post the same URL to this forum - it will appear.

INTERNET EXPLORER : Right click on the still, and then click on "Preferences" and copy the ENTIRE URL-link and post the same URL to this forum - it will appear.

Sometimes, people loose their picture URL's on their way from the place they find their picture URL's - to this chat-forum.

I usually use Netscape Communicator 4.78. The way I'd do it, is : I log into one of the Yahoo groups, open a message and if I like to save a picture posted there to this chat-forum, then I simply stay where I am in the group - and then open Netscape again.

This time I can click into the chat-forum, write a message and then open the OTHER ALREADY OPEN Netscape window, and then just copy the picture URL and then click over to the OTHER OPEN Netscape window - which is the message I'm writing in the chat-forum - and simply "paste" the picture URL down.

Or you can simply copy the picture URL and "paste" it down on NOTEPAD or another program. And then use the saved "picture URL" on your message here.

Remember to use the below HTML- tags in front of the "picture URL." I have to write it down like this, or it will not show right.

(1) : <
(2) : IMG
(3) : space
(4) : SRC
(5) : = (PS: Write in the "URL" immediately after this)
(6) : > (PS: This one you put in AFTER the "URL")

Then it looks like :

Hope this helps !
Arild
