I have to mention (with regret)three novels with great spanking scenes which were lost when translated to film:
James Clavell's Tai-Pan had a raunchy bare bottom spanking scene of a bratty oriental female; it was watered down seriously in the film scene.
Frederic Forsyth's "The Dogs of War" had a great OTK spanking that didn't make it into the movie at all.
The novel version of the World of Suzie Wong had a fine spanking scene that made it to Broadway but not to the Hollywood version.
Come Hollywood give us a break!
