When I was a kid in the early 1960s I remember seeing a scene on television which has always intrigued me. I am not sure if it was a movie or a television show but unfortunately I only saw the latter part of it.
A boy is upset because a man had spanked a women. The man was trying to explain to the boy that these types of things sometimes happen in a grown-up relationships as they try to work out their problems. At the end of the movie the man and the women are arguing. The women threatens to slap the man. He says he will give her another spanking if she does. She slaps him but he does not spank her. They then kiss and make up.
If anyone can identify this film I would be very grateful as I have wondered about it for years.
