I am no expert, I leave that to my 15 year Son. But Cookies are some kind of computer language. They are left on your computer every time you visit a sight by the other sights computer. So they know who has visited them. Only the IP address, they don't know who you are!!! Thats how you get computer junk mail. I disable mine, unless I want to visit a sight that won't let you in unless they are enabled, like Moviespank2. On my computer you have to go to your properties box...that will give you a choice of menues from general, security, content, connection, programs, advance. Click on security tap and then click on custom levels. Security settings menue should come up. Scroll down until you come to Cookies. It will give you three choice, Disable, emable, or prompt. simply click the box that say disable and press okay. Security setting is now changed. Make sure though that when you are clearing your history files and temporary internet files that you delete the cookies left by clicking on settings then on view files. Delete cookies. They are not automatically deleted when you delete your history files etc.. Hope you understand all this. If not I am sure someone will be able to explaning it a lot clearer than me. Best of luck. Fox.
