What were these? I have a thingie on my satellite called "Teevo"--when I get home I can tell you more. But you enter names of programs you want to see from all the zillions of channels I have on the satellite and it finds and records them. I am sure you can buy this thing too. It only cost something like $75.00 but you need a Direct TV Satellite that costs $99.00 to buy hooked up and something like $30.00 a month.
I can program in any movie I want and it will find it and record it. It will wait until it is on. I don't need to look for it. That's how I learn about movies. When you guys are telling each other when a movie is on and the channel and stuff, I punch it into "Teevo" and it finds it for me. Get it, it's good!!!
I have picked up "Bat Masterson". It was a TV series. They have a song . . . "They call him Bat . . Bat Masterson". To find the one with a spanking on it, you got to know the title of the specific program or you end up with zillions of "Bat Mastersons" clogging up you DVDs. I cut DVDs from my "Teevo". I don't know how or why it works, though.
When it breaks I call the repair guy. Then I make sure I am home when he comes. I flirt with him and he makes all this stuff work. Mostly, he does it for free.
