Manager Calling Client a Name!

Hi, my name is Shelly, I have been a c.n.a. since 1982.

I have recently quit one of my home health positions last Friday.

I had a patient that liked me and is used to me doing her. I do two hours of homemaking one day a week, and personal care 3 times a week, with this company.

This lady is a nice person. She has allot of problems and cannot move around except to use her potty chair and back to her chair. Her husband is in his 90s and does allot, all that he can do. So there place is dirty allot of the times, and needs allot of cleaning.

The company that she was with dropped her after I quit. The manager of this company told her that there were no more girls available to come out and do her house cleaning and personal care. That is a bunch of bull!

When the manager gave me this lady, the manager said, "Be ware, her house is really in bad shape. She doesn't get up to do any cleaning, she is lazy!"

I am upset, because of the things that the manager told me about this lady.

Also, that everyone at this company is to busy for this lady! Hogwash!!!!!!! The manager is the one who sits on her duffy all day! She could go do it, but, she won't!

My point is, don't call and patient or clients lazy, or any names! Because one day you may be in worse shape!

We are there to help them, not hinder them!

Thank you,

Shelly
