Job description:Long-term Live in Caregiver Position Available
I am a 52-year-old male C4-5 quadriplegic from Onalaska, Wisconsin in search of live in caregiver to do my daily personal cares on a dedicated and responsible basis. The individual (preferably female) must speak English well and have good driving record with some experience caring for the physically challenged.
Cares Consist of:
Colostomy care, range of motion, showering and shaving and oral care, transferring with hoyer lift, skincare (watching for skin breakdown), feeding and food preparation, dressing and undressing, transferring to appointments and wherever by my Van, light housework, putting on external catheter, emptying leg bag, getting up a couple times at night to empty urinal, check colostomy and provide a drink of water. Rolling me back and forth at night if necessary due to skin problems.
Wages Consists of: $10 an hour or $12 an hour depending on experience for personal care aide job.
Wages negotiable if individual is interested in live in position possibly even salary.
