When Jesus said that even he did not know the time of the end, he was affirming his humanity. Of course God the Father knows the time, and Jesus and the Father are one. But when Jesus became a man, he voluntarily gave up the unlimited use of his divine attributes. In fact, God putting Himself in a mortal body is the very act of love He wanted to demonstrate by subjecting Himself to the human body's limitations-- to suffer and to die and to waive eternal knowledge. All these limitations that He had subjected Himself to are for the benefit of mankind.

JUST IMAGINE IF JESUS KNEW THE HOUR OF THE PASSING OF EARTH AND HEAVENS HE WOULD BE COMPELLED TO REVEAL WHAT MUST NOT BE REVEALED, MUCH LESS FOR HIM TO LIE ABOUT IT.
