Response to I don't expect any brilliant challenge from a liar. I know for sure that his doctirnes |
| You've been proven wrong several times on this particular verse and I'm surprised how stubborn you are in accepting the truth.
There is no reason for God to die for our sins as we are the offenders. Its as if God is defending humanity from Himself. What did Jesus say to the doubters?
While they were telling these things, He Himself stood in their midst and said to them, Peace be to you. 37 But they were startled and frightened and thought that they were seeing a spirit. 38 And He said to them, Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have. 40 And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.
He simply told them that He is not God.

in fact, Christ being the form of God is actually the synonym for the image of God as affirmed here
"Christology in the Making: An Inquiry into the Origins of the Doctrine of the Incarnation, p. 115
The phrases "being in the form of God" (which is written) and "being God" (which is concluded) definitely do not mean the same thing. Just because Christ is "in the form of God," it does not necessarily mean that Christ "is God." In fact, not only do they mean two different things-they also are "spiritually incomparable." They are simply scripturally irreconcilable, considering the meaning of "form" and the fact that "form" and "image" (man, let it not be forgotten, was created in the image of God) are "near synonyms" ."
"Wycliffe Bible Commentary
"form" ("morphe" in Greek) denotes an expression of "essential attributes" or "essential qualities" of God: "6. Being in the form of God (AV). Better, Though in his pre-incarnate state he possessed the essential qualities of God, he did not consider his status of divine quality a prize to be selfishly hoarded (taking harpagmos passively). Morphe, form, in verses 6 and 7 denotes a permanent expression of essential attributes, while schema, fashion (v. 8 ), refers to outward appearance that is subject to change" (p. 1324).
---
Even so, the use of Form or Image is to be considered especially when apostle Paul could have said "Jesus is God but," unfortunately for the trinitarians, it does not say that anywhere in the bible and the first century never recognized Jesus Christ as God and still doesn't today.
Take a look:
Colossians 1:15
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
In fact, the new testament still does not recognize God becoming human nor Jesus being God in human form. It says Jesus Christ is the reflection of God's righteousness and also points out still that God is spirit which is invisible. Overall spiritually comparable with Philippians 2:9
In what sense then is Christ the image of the invisible God, a characteristic that not only He, in fact, but all men should possess since all men have been created in God's image? In righteousness and holiness (Eph. 4:23-24, TEV)
That has been resolved and the truth is that the Son was eternal according to the man made trinity doctrine and is apart of the 3 person God is the Son of the Father. But, why exactly is the Son called the Son? Was it that He was created? Why not the Father? Isn't the Son the creator to? No, nowhere in the bible will you ever find that He is. Did God ever change into a human?
Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Malachi 3:6 RSV
"For I the Lord do not change"
James 1:17
"Every good endowment and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change."
---------
So when the verse says "nor the Son but, the Father"
It is in fact, THE SON. not some human disposable body that he threw away, he went up to heaven still with the same body. Jesus didn't raise himself from the dead.
Acts 2:24
"But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.
Acts 5:30
"The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you had put to death by hanging Him on a cross.
