Remember that when I posted
Col. 1:15 (NIV)
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
it was my interpretation that Christ is the exact physical representation of God. But you were the one who said that Christ is the image of God in the sense that He only represents the holiness and righteousness of God.
This is also the way you are trying to argue the real meaning of "Let us make man in our own image as against my point which is that God would reveal himself to all those pure in heart in the final scenario as Jesus Christ. Therefore the statement:
"Let us make man in our image, after our likeness" will have been concluded.
