so simple yet confusing. That controversial phrase blurted out by Thomas generated too many foolish speculations.
Where is it written that a man can see God? Did Thomas then possess that superdigital eyes that he can see a Spirit? Alright, man can see the physical manifestations of God in many things herein(burning bush, cloud over the gabernacle, etc) but not God HImself.
The fact that Thomas remained alive after seeing "God" face to face (Exo 33:20) is proof that what he saw is not God after all, but man in Jesus.
