Nakita ba nya ang Diyos- in flesh and bones? May buto't laman ba ang Diyos- the Spirit? Isn't SPirit formless, invisible that none will or can never see it?
That controversial john 1:1 verse has proven to be the thorn between Jesus being God or man. So, why don't we consult the other apostles who who has these to say:
1)In 1 Timothy 2:5 Apostle Paul himself confirmed Jesus is man- the mediator between god and man.For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Again in 1 Cor 8:6, he said "yet for US (all of them apostles & disciples) tehre is but one God, the Father, from whom all things, and we exist for him.". All of us - all of them- including Thomas !!
2)In John 8:40 Apostle Peter told us of Jesus true nature- a man attested to you by God ! Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst.
3)In Luke 7:40 Apostle Simon called Jesus teacher- not God.
Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you." "Tell me, teacher," he said.
4) In Luke 24:19-20 all of the apostles knew Jesus was a prophet!
About Jesus of Nazareth," they replied. "He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him
In short, who should we believe? That controversial blurting out of Thomas or these apostles' testimonies?
