While all members of the first-century "church" or "body" of Christ are dead, they remain the "body" or "church" of Christ and it is to this "church" or "body" of Christ that living members are ADDED (Acts 2:41, 47) after hearing the word of truth and sealed by the holy spirit of promise (Eph. 1:12-13).

... after hearing the word of truth? where is he that speaks the word of truth NOW? and who and where are those have heard the words?
