Jesus spoke to unbelievers in parables, but that was because it was not time yet

for conversions of many thousands of people to Christianity. Jesus spoke plainly to his selected disciples, but to crowds he spoke in parables, so they would not understand. So that most Jews would turn against him and support his crucifixion, to fulfill the prophecy. But after his resurrection he promised the Holy Spirit, and we have read about the fantastic result the next Passover day. The apostles spoke to the crowd plainly, we have Peter's plain speech, he did not speak in parables at all, he spoke plainly. And on that day thousands of Jews were converted. They repented of having been against Jesus, and accepted Jesus with love as their savior. And so on that day they were saved, Jesus baptized them with the Holy Spirit for the remission of their sins, and they got the gift of the Holy Spirit, as Peter promised them in Acts 2:28.
So likewise Peter wrote plainly in his epistles, Paul wrote plainly in his epistles, etc. No parables there. Jesus is clearly revealed to us. So identifying Jesus is not needed by revelation, but just by reading the Bible. There is no new revelation today. God inspired Paul to write to us in 1 Cor. 4:6, not to go beyond what is written. So after that any further revelation was written in the Bible, and so now with the Bible being finished, there is no revelation besides what is written in the Bible. So we will not hear the voice of God, as long as we are still alive. God is speaking to us only through the Bible. Likewise we will not hear any angel, as long as we are alive. After we die, we will be totally dead, until the future resurrection, when we will awake, rise up, and we will be alive again. Then we will be going to Mt. Zion for further study from God, he will be teaching us the new laws, and whatever else he will want to teach us. Probably also more about himself and his Son. After all, we can read about that we will be taught by God on Mt. Zion in Is. 2:2-4, Micah 4:1-3. This prophecy is so important, that God inspired two prophets to say the same thing. It will be wonderful. Now Christians argue with each other about some commandments and other things, that they might have misunderstood in the Bible, but on Mt. Zion we will be taught clearly, so Christians will be finally united on every doctrine, while now they are united mainly on the gospel doctrines, which are needed for salvation, but they are divided on many other things. As Paul wrote in 1 Cor. 13, now we see through glass darkly. But when the perfect comes, we will know much more. Of course we will not become omniscient, only God knows everything. But still when the perfect comes, and the perfect is God and his Son, they are perfect, and they are going to come, so then God will teach us a lot more. And we will be so happy to learn so much more. Now while I say that some things are not so clear in the Bible, so Christians can misunderstand some things, the identity of Jesus is clear in the Bible, because some of it is necessary for salvation. So we can know Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, the Lord, the Light of the world, who came in the flesh, died for our sins, was raised the third day, and several other things needed for salvation. Also some other things about Jesus are very clear in the Bible. Christians argue about some things, like about the ultimate nature of Jesus, but most such things are simply not revealed to us in the Bible, so those are futile arguments. What is not revealed in the Bible about him, we just can't know. But surely after God and his Son come and we are resurrected, I expect we will find out more about Jesus, including about some things that Christians have disagreed with each other about, like is he God, is he one of the persons of God, or is he the archangel, or neither, after all, many Christians want to know, many believe they know, so I expect we will be finally informed about that. So then no more speculation about it, we will be united. Personally I am not impatient to find out, I realize in his wisdom God has not revealed it to us, so I am satisfied with that. I am patient. I do not expect to die very soon, I do not have a mortal disease. So I will spend likely some more years not knowing this secret, and that is OK with me. Then I will die, and the next thing I will know is I will be resurrected, finally awake again. And then soon I will be traveling to Mt. Zion to find out more. I will surely not be one of those who will refuse to go to Jerusalem even for the feast of Tabernacles. After all, I am saved now, and I will likely die saved. And if I die unsaved, maybe due to some dementia I will lose faith, then I will surely become saved again after I am resurrected. It will be wonderful.
