Rest for the Weary
25At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.
26Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.
27"All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

You are not expected to do these sacrifices because you are not among God's

servant. It's nothing compared to the sacrifices made by the Lord Jesus just to follow the will of Our Almighty Father. We are no better than our master (Lord Jesus) and the truth has set us free from the bondage of evil spirits like what you have.

all of your time like that?

What will heaven be like? Maybe a 24/7 worship service surrounded by grey suited Deacons!

I'd rather take the lake of fire.

It's our calling and we need to share, we need to sacrifice and this is fulfilled...

Book of John:

6 "I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. 7 Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8 For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. 9 I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. 10 All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.

Tell me Observer, to what kind of freedom is Jesus referring
that you (should) enjoy right now?

Don't start about drug addicts and drunkards when we mention the word freedom.
Don't you know that freedom and responsibility comes together?
I know Jesus never adviced us to get sky-high on ganja or drink until we drop dead to get salvation.
But he also said: "There is nothing outside the man which can defile him if it goes into him"
So I don't think salvation is at great risk here.
You enjoy your freedom Observer,
