They look so full of entitlement the little prince and his sister!

Living the millionaire lifestyle all gained from false pretences and gullible people like you.

Keep on giving more than you can afford, sell your possessions even.

Mr. White utterly failed to win the debate. Ventilacion also performed very poorly.

How did White "utterly" lose the debate? Be specific in your INC defense

I don't see how anyone looking at the Debate objectively

June 2 2017, 7:11 PM

Could say that Dr White lost. Well, he won the first segment any, I only watched bits and pieces of the rest of the debate, it was to boring to watch in detail. But in his opening statement, Dr White quoted a number of scriptures that he believed indicated the trinity was correct, and Joe V ignored the scriptures he quoted. At some point, he should have addressed each scripture that Dr White quoted or quoted a number of scriptures that he believed proved his own point. Instead, he just repeated the same thing over and over again. That is why most people think he lost. At least its why I think he lost. I don't really care about Unitarian vs Trinitarian arguments, but acknowledging all or at least most of the other person's comments/points and responding to them is debating 101. Ignoring them means you lost.

I understand your point, however White also sometimes failed to answer Ventilacion's

June 3 2017, 3:08 PM

arguments. I mean the way the debate was arranged, it was hard for each one to answer the other one point by point, one debater would raise several points, and the other debater would not find himself able to remember and answer each of the points, that is typical with such a debate, where a person can spend a few minutes arguing his view before the other debater has a chance to answer. So to some extent they both ended up answering by using other verses, instead of analyzing previously raised verses in detail. They thought that they could win the argument by pointing to their favorite verses. So it is not quite like my debates with Michael on the other network54 INC forum, where at least I try to analyze each of the verses Michael raises, fully, though of course I also use other verses and then try to harmonize those verses with the verses Michael points out.
Concerning the debate of White versus Ventilacion, simply, White failed ever to mention what would have been his strongest argument, namely he failed to even hint that the Bible never says Jesus is not God. Instead, White just tried various verses which he claimed say Jesus is God, and they were all weak arguments.
Ventilacion also failed to state, what would have been his strongest argument, namely that the Bible never states that Jesus is God. Though he came a bit closer, as I seem to remember the debate, I think he said Jesus never said he is God. Though that is not enough, he should have stated that nobody in the Bible ever says Jesus is God, neither Paul, nor Peter, nor John, nor Matthew, etc., no verse in the Bible ever states that. That would have been a powerful argument, and he failed to have made it.
So both failed to see that the Bible never says Jesus is God or is not God, so we can't know if he is God or not.

Jesus is now eternal. He is not mortal any more. Anyway, White had weak arguments

June 5 2017, 8:47 AM

when he claimed verses show Jesus is God. Sure, not all his arguments were weak, he did show that the Son had preexisted. And Ventilacion had a strong argument when he showed that the Son was created, even though he did not realize when the Son was created.

Rev. 3:14, the Son is 'the beginning of the creation of God'.

June 7 2017, 6:23 PM

Also Col. 1:15, the Son is the 'firstborn of all creation'. Do you see the word 'creation'? So he is part of creation.

Still doing better than the INC

June 1 2017, 11:57 AM

Of course, comparing them to a relatively small, almost exclusively Filipino church that mostly depends on immigration from the Philippines for its growth is not setting the bar very high. These Protestants and Catholics leaving churches that the administration gloats about in its twice weekly brainwashing session aren't exactly flocking to the INC banners. In fact, the few that come to listen in their fruit bearing drives usually walk away thinking the INC people are even crazier than the mainline protestant and catholic beliefs.
