      Hi I was thinking about getting a Dazzle unit
      with the built in encoder chip.
      But what I would like to know is with the dazzle unit
      can I take any mpeg file already on my hard drive
      and rencode it thru the hardware encoder chip
      or would I have to use a software encoder?
      If I have to use a software encoder then I may as
      well save my money and keep using my win pvr250
      Which also have a builtin encoder chip.
      Plus it has a TV tuner.
