I haven't burned a svcd with nero in a long time and today I tried to burn a cue file with nero that is svcd when I tried to do it I came up with this error message
Shit I cant copy and paste the whole thing but this is the main part THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS WERE FOUND:
-stream encoding which is invalid for a Super Video cd
-no video
-no audio
Now is this a bad cue and bin file or did I do something wrong?
Hi, I too haven't done much SVCD in some time. But I think I "might" have an idea. The "CUE" file is an image file is it not? As such you would NOT burn it as an SVCD. It should have all the needed stuff for SVCD in it's "image". You need to burn the Image as is ... Maybe someone here with more experience can comment on how to do that. Maybe you can pick up on what I'm suggesting.
I really don't "think" when burning an image, that you should be getting ANY kind of SVCD checking. Supposedly all that should have been done when the "original" SVCD disc was authored. That's what you have an image of.
Hope I'm not way out on this and apologize if I'm leading you astray. Haven't ever burned an Image with Nero myself .. <grin> But I think I understand it's theory. Good luck. Anywone with more experience want to follow up on this?
Thankx I like this msg board already that was my first post. But Anyway yeah I told you I haven't burned in a while hahah. I am at work I when i get back home I am going to try and burn it I'll let you guys know if it works thankx again bye
dvd2svcd will create your cue and bin files. nero
does not seem to like these. fortunately, the
mpg files are also there. they look something like
xxxxxx_muxed_00, xxxxxx_muxed01. Just use these
files with nero and you will have no problems
burning them to svcd.
I would suggest downloading a good Virtual cdrom software such as daemon tools, or alcohol 120% and mount the image in that..then load power xp and watch movie see if there is any problems. or if you downloaded the movie in rar formats sometimes along with the rar's it contains a SFV file which will scan the archives for errors. I have been using nero for a long time on regular basis without any problems. Another suggestion if this doesnt work is extract the mpeg from teh image using VCDGear and then preview movie and then load it in nero using svcd template ..note: this will require the svcd plugin
