I use a AIW Pro 128 trying to capture from my analogue camera. I wish to make a SVCD. However, when I try and burn the file produced with Nero it says that the file is not compliant saying there was 'stream encoding' which is invalide for a SVCD. Any help please?

I recommend ULEAD DVD Movie Factory - It burns SVCD too. Not the greatest quality or speed but sure is easy.

Another alternative is buy a DVDR ($300) and skip a format that I obsolete.

Ckeck your MMC software version:
1/ If below 7.7 (7.6 or under)
Have to demux/remux your mp2 file.
The easiest way:
download tmpgenc at www.tmpgenc.com
Menu "File/Mpeg tools"
Tab "Merge & Cut"
Choose type "MPEG2 Super VideoCD (VBR)"
"Add" you mp2 file
and "Run"
The result is an mpg file SVCD compliant.

2/ If 7.7, choose the SVCD template.
See Rich site www.pcphotovideo.com for optimizing
(NB: never succeeded to make this version work on my win98SE system; I use 7.6)

Let me know if it works.
