I am running Windows 2000 with an AMD Athlon XP 1900+ and CCE SP version 2.50.Does anyone who has used this POS program ever gotten it to work?It will encode about 50-75% of the AVI's I give it, but then it ALWAYS gives me some Bulls*** error about a disc error or AviDecompress error or some s**t.I am giving it avi's with the HuffYUV codec and uncompressed 48Khz PCM audio.I have tried it without audio and I still get the error.I downloaded the Latest CCE SP trial (2.64) and it works fine, but it puts a watermark on the video. What the hell is wrong with version 2.50?
What kind of a stupid program has a filesize limit of 2 gigs on Windows 2000? Limits like that are for Windows 98/me or older crap. The thought that such a limit could occur on Windows 2000 never even entered my mind, so I never thought to read for it.I don't think huffyuv has anything to do with it now because the POS errors even on uncompressed RGB.So, it just goes down to lousy programming.
