Can't view SVCD subtitles on my PC

Hi,
I converted a DVD to SVCD with DVD2SVCD. I also switched on English subtitles. Although everthing went ok during the encoding process (subtitles where ripped and muxed), I can't view them now on my PC, neither with WinDVD nor with PowerDVD. I also tried to produce the SVCD with nero and burnt it on a RW, but it still didn't work.

I can`t figger out the problem. Perhaps I need a special software player to view the subs on my PC, or plugins for WinDVD/PowerDVD. Or is it possible, that these subs may only be viewed on standalones ?

Please help me.

Unfortunately switchable subtitles are not playable on PC. Only on desktop players. You must use plastered (non switchable, fixed)subtitles during coding.
None of software players can play switchable subtitles at the moment.
