SVCD playback

I have recently acquired some SVCD disc but cannot play them on my PC. Can anyone suggest a downloadable package that will allow me to play these typese of disc?

Powerdvd is the best for mpeg 2 svcd playback.
Also a powerful mediaplayer is AV-Studiostor that can play most media. Some mpeg2 file may not.
Also is a powerful cd-indexer.

powerdvd xp 4.0 is the only svcd capable version out there. Earlier vesions will play from file but not disk (will not recognise the svcd format)

not the best looking, but the least cpu cycles for displaying video of any kind on your windoze/linux/beos/etc. machine...
