VCD with MSP 6.0 - PLEASE HELP !!

Hello,

I'm using Pinacle DC10 as a capture card to capture analog video, edit the AVI files in MSP 6.0 and output the whole project to MPEG using the PAL VCD pre-defined settings. The file comes out OK, however, when I burn it (using EZCD 5.2) and play it on my Pioneer DV535 DVD the picture has small "squares" or "texturized" areas - as if the quality is poor.

I've tried everything (including frame/field A,B) and nothing works.
Can anyone help me or tell me the detailed procedure?
TANKS !!

This is an easy one...Don"t use Media Studio Pro to encode the file to mpeg...It has a Totaly Crapy Encoder...What you can do is use "Premier" to edit then export to a Mpeg encoder plugin or use the video server or AVIsynth to frame serve the file to an external mpeg encoder like CCE or Tmpgenc..there is a Expert plugin for Media Studio pro that will allow you to export to a External mpeg encoder but it isn"t free and I don"t know how well it works you can find it at "http://www.videotools.net/...
