i have e-mailed ati and also downloaded all the drivers from there site, unfortunetly when installing the drivers it ask's that you insert the ati cd-rom, if i had that i wouldnt be downloading...
i dont have 1-900- phone service so i cant call there teck support.
if you have some concern about piracy you are more than welcome to forward this to any government organization that you like, i own the card and it is registered with ati, but they have yet to return my e-mail message's

ati's website says that you must have the original cd to use the dvd software, you can d/l it from ati but it will not install unles you have the original cd. unfortunetly for me, not only do i not have the dvd player, i can not capture or watch tv on the puter. the file and vcd player are the only 2 pieces of software that will work, i've tried to use some of my other tv capture apps but they will not pick up a signal, and virtua dub says i have no capture drivers installed (i'm aware of the dwm/vdub conflict).
when i try to run the tv app the hard drive light will light up very dim 3 times in a row but nothing happens. i have re-installed my system 3 times now with different drivers, and tried a number of third party apps, old and new and i'm desperate here! please, PLEASE.. some one help me

p.s. have any suggestions where i could obtain a copy of the original cd or download an iso, i'm on dialup so a direct transfer would be prob out of the question, but i have friens who have cable modem that could/would get it for me and let me d/l it in ace or rar chunks....(what i need is either an original 7500 cd or a copy)

thanx for your time.

If I were you I wouldn"t use the ATI drivers Cuz they Suck Turds in Hell...Try the BTWINCAP Drivers they should work for you card you can get them here:http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/ If you use the ATI drivers you will be stuck useing Just the ATI software which is OK but limiting..My ATI card would only capture to 640+240 useing the ATI drivers But these drivers let me capture up to 756+576 and I can use ANY software to capture with....

but... i have a original built by ati-card, not a povered by.
for povered by ati you should use the referencedrivers.
