Avi file "details" in WinXP?

In Win98, rightclicking an avi and selecting Properties\Details accessed info on the codec and bitrate.

So far I can't see how to access that info in WinXP unless I resort to a 3rd-party app. Is there a way?

It is Exactly the same way with XP and XP Pro.(right click the file go to Properties).Maybe the AVI files you have don"t have any Meta-Data with it.....
