First, I assume you have installed the Huffyuv codec (not encoder...)

Now, you have to choose the video format option in VirtualDub capture menu, and play with the options there. They differ according to the capture card you have. I have an ATI card, and I have to change the "Pixel depth and compression" settings. This, in turn, will make the capture program able to use other codecs installed in the system.

I tryed

I tryed and indeed i can open it this way, but i have first lanch windvr to put it in pal mode, but I can only capture 288 x 352 with only rgb55 16 bit mode, i can,t capture 720 x 576 it says video not supportid, i can capture with windvr in full dvd mode without any problem rgb 32 bit is not seen only rgb 24 witch not work, it depends of the mode or i can use huffyuv codec or not, it seems that windows standart only supports ntsc mode.

greetings kees

I have No Problem at all Useing the HuffyUv codec while Captureing ...It is Much better to Capture to YUY2 format so you don"t loose Quality through RGB Conversion and RGB 24 and RGB32 are pretty much the same accept RGB32 has 8 bits of Garbage or Blank data added so it doesn"t really give better Quality...I have no problem Captureing to HuffyUV in Any Resolution Up to 756+576.....
