I use TMPGenc 2,57 to convert my AVI files (from Studio 7) in MPEG2 DVD quality.
I use Ulead DVD Movies Factory or Ulead DVD Workshop for authoring.
The result in my new DVD reader JVC is perfect... exept a sound out of sync after 3 or 4 minutes !
If i stop et restart the DVD or if i move back a bit the sound is OK.... for 5 or 10 minutes !!!!
With the in-built MPEG2 Ulead Workshop encoder the result is perfetc but the picture quality is not so good than TMPGenc.
If i use Tollam for sound encodinf with TMPGenc i get the same problem.... if i encode seperately images and sound (in WAV after extraction from AVI) i get the same sound out of sync problem.
Maybe try not useing Tmpgenc...I have had Quite a Few sync problems with Tmpgenc in the past..Try useing CCE or even the New "MainConcept" they are Much faster encoders and they will usually give you better quality..
