China Video Disc (CVD) what's that?

Hi,
read a post by Neil a couple of days ago where he had a link to a site with information about CVD.

http://www.creativedimension.co.za/millware/studiostor/info.htm

They say this format is between VCD 2.0 & DVD.
VBR mpeg2 up to 2550 Mbp.
Picture quality to be better than SVCD especially in motions scenes.

I made a few atempts to make a CVD but I got mixed results. I used their TMPGEnc template for NTSC which I manipulated to suit PAL. Maybe that was the problem?

If somebody with experience from this CVD format would like to share some experience I would be greatful.

Thanks
Stefan

CVD is Just like SVCD But the resolution is Slightly Different at 352+480..They Look Really funny in a Computer screen Cuz they are really Skinny and tall But they look Much better once they are on your TV, But I still prefer SVCD....
